Why does my toddler son love his baby brother’s hands & feet?
My 2 year old son loves to take his 10 month old baby brother’s hands or feet and rub them on his face. He seems to have a fetish with his baby brother’s hands & feet. Why?
My son likes them , too. He sticks his fingers between my toes whenever I’m not looking. Eeeeww lol. I was thinking and all I could come up with is the first things he noticed when he began to become self aware was his hands then feet, and all the wonderful things he could do with them. He continued to periodically stare at his hands until he was about 15 months. I’m thinking my feet are a science experiment to him. He is coming to realize I might just be a separate being.
Also,maybe your son knows those are the baby’s safe to touch parts, and the face rubbing seems like an affectionate thing, and the skin on skin feels good, soft. We all like to be touched.
