And I discovered Lights (the musician) from all of those awesome ones in 2008. And all of their commercials used to be so very classy….

Does anyone know what happened there? Did they get different marketing people? Or were they hit by the recession and just don’t make enough money anymore to pay for the models or the nice camera work?

Aw man I know what you mean. I remember the 90s when Old Navy commercials were cartoons(wearin old navy tie-dye!) and even when they had that whole 70s vibe going on. They even had Morghan Fairchild sing about drawstring pants! So yeah, I think it’s a budget thing. They can’t afford to write their own songs or hire actors anymore. BTW the mannequins from the commercials now are in the stores and they freak me out.
